May i be excused?
When you send your best away to die in wars, your leftovers become your only hope. Not to defend your home, as the war is over, but to plan and secure it's future, and to become the teachers of your children.
It's funny how it seems humanity is dumber and weaker in so many ways than it used to be. We've come so far, but we should be amongst the stars by now. Too bad we held ourselves back all this time.
May we not make the same mistakes in the future.
