My revolution
Mrs O'leary's husband died last week, her yard is overgrown, she doesn't have the time to manage it all herself as she's grown old, tired, and in pain most days. John has gardening skills and time available to assist her. Jack wants to learn how to be a better gardener. Tuesdays and thursdays they help Mrs O'leary manage her yard and plant a vegetable garden to help her keep food cost down later in the season. John refines his skills and teaches Jack things he didn't know before. The world becomes a better place.
Mr. Johnson is a carpenter and has minimal car knowledge. His car failed to start this morning. Mark, Mike, and Bill all love to work on cars. They stop by Mr. J's house to help him out. They find the problem quickly, spend an hour and 45 minutes picking up the part, and install it. Bill sees Mr. J's new deck and trellis in the backyard. After finding out Mr. J built it all himself, he starts considering building a deck of his own. 2 weeks later construction begins. Mr. J teaches Bill new skills. The world becomes a better place.

WoW! That's the goodness vine growing like a weed.
an acquaintance of mine was just talking about communal living. it all sounds perfect to me. instead we are all insulated by worries and doubts.
@promisesunshine - You sparked a whole blog worth of material, just saying. :D
@PrisonerxOfxLove - it's the hope i have in the back of my mind, my vision for a future where we make ourselves feel accepted and the community can use us, learn from us, and we'd all thrive together. it's just a matter of putting all the pieces together.
@enderwigginsx - you startled the bejeebers outta me when you tagged me.
